Looks flashy doesn't it? Microsoft just announced its next-generation of Zunes. Ready for some facts? The larger Zune 2.0 will sport an 80GB harddrive, a 3.2-inch screen at a price of $249 (€176). The Zune nano Flash Zune will come in 4GB and 8GB in a few colors and will be priced at $149 (€ 105) and $199 (€ 140) respectively. Good pricing, especially with the dollar doing not so great. Your big Zune 2.0 is only going to be available in black, the smaller Flash Zune will come in black, green, pink and red. Just as the picture above.
The biggest changes to the Zune include a touch-sensitive wheel not unlike the one found on the iPod. You’ll also be able to sync your Zune with your PC any time it is within range of your home wireless network. Another added bonus is the addition of support for h.264 and MPEG4 videos.

Apple kicks off with: "The revolutionary iPod touch puts entertainment — and the Internet — at your fingertips". I am still sceptical about the touch-screen-idea. How sensitive is it for day to day use, and when will it wear out? How does it suit people with large hands? And what about sweaty, greasy hands, does it still operates normally?
Since it launche in June, nothing has been reported regarding disfunctional touch-screens yet. And though I love the look, and actually wanted to buy it right away, I am going to wait. I sit out for a year or so, just to see if anything pops up.
Anyone out there who would like to share their experience?
